2. What the site is

An independent editorial website publishing commentary and explanatory guides about consumer security software. It is free to read and requires no account.

Nothing is sold here. We take no payment, hold no stock, issue no licence and process no order. Where you buy something after leaving this site, your contract is with that vendor alone.

3. Information, not advice

The content is general information. It is not legal advice, not financial advice, and not a professional security assessment of your particular situation. We do not know your circumstances, your systems or your risk profile. You remain responsible for your own decisions about software, configuration and security practice.

We take reasonable care to be accurate and we correct errors when they are pointed out (see the editorial policy), but we do not warrant that the content is complete, current or error-free. Software products change constantly: where anything here differs from the information published by the vendor, the vendor's information prevails. Always check the vendor's own page before buying.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it in a way that degrades service for others, or use it for anything unlawful.

The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. Where we withdraw an article, we keep its address working and say that it has been withdrawn rather than letting your bookmark break.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the content, from use of a third-party product, or from your inability to access the site. 13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer resident in another EU Member State, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country's law, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence. Consumer disputes with the publisher may be referred to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) as the competent out-of-court dispute resolution body. Disputes about a purchase are matters for the vendor concerned, not for us.
